Young Mended Hearts
Mended Hearts has another new program for a different group of heart patients. It is called Hopeful Young Hearts for heart patients from 25 - 50 years of age. The need for outreach to this group is underscored by the Center for Disease Control's 1999 National Center for Health Statistics which shows heart disease as the third largest cause of death for individuals in this age range. Yet, there are no formal groups for this population! If you are between the ages of 25-50+ years of age, please contact Chapter 119
